PRAYING UNCEASINGLY

For MANY OF US WEHAVE TURNED TO PRAYER IN THESE UNCERTAIN TIMES.

The bible tells us to pray unceasingly in 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17 - when i was younger i thought that this meant every second of our day should be sPent in prayer. This is quite IMPOSSIBLE. The Greek word for “without ceasing” is adialeiptos, which doesn't mean nonstop — but actually means constantly recurring. In other words, it is quite impossible to try to pray without stopping, but instead try to make your prayers uNlimited in scope. For example : instead of praying for the meal in front of you pray for every meal that will come. Past present and future. 

this changes the scope of the prayer and allows you to pray A prayer that is reCUrring.
